The DOE-CH electronic public reading room (one of approximately 20 such facilities around the country) is available to the general public to provide information and documents about Energy Department programs and Chicago laboratories.

The Reading Room is located on the third floor of University of Illinois at Chicago's Richard J. Daley Library in the Documents, Maps, and Microforms Department.

Materials available include Final Occurrence Reports, DOE-CH orders and notices, Environmental Impact Statements, documents relating to nuclear site reconfiguration, contractor reports, guidelines for radioactive waste disposal and Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board Recommendations. We also have a special collection of Human Experimentation Review materials. Access to this collection is provided through the Documents and Maps Reference Desk.
