Performance objective: The appropriate training is delivered on a cost-effective basis within the needed timeframe.
Measure #1: The contractor shall identify each individuals mandatory training needs (initial training) and shall verify module completion to ensure work is performed safely and effectively. Expectation: On a fiscal year basis, the following performance levels will be applied to the percentage of active employees Laboratory-wide who have completed mandatory modules for which they have been identified. Outstanding - >95%; Excellent - >90% to <95%; Good - >85% to <90%; Marginal - <85% Measure #2: The contractor shall identify each individuals mandatory retraining needs and shall verify module completion to ensure work is performed safely and effectively. Mid-Year Status Report due by July 15, 2000. This report should discuss critical items, significant changes, and the status of the self assessment effort to date. Year End Final Report due 45 days after calendar year. |

DOE Operational Awareness: |

DOE interaction on an as need basis to include the following: Periodic meetings and communication between the Ames Group and Laboratory management staff. Review the year-end self assessment report and determine the need for an on-site validation. |
